Despite RSL spending most of their time locked away in a studio in the north-west of England the music they created was something you would more likely expect to hear coming out of Southern Spain or Spanish Harlem. A heavy, intoxicating influence of house, soul, disco, gospel, Nuyorican, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian and beyond.
